Health and Safety is our main priority here at G A Smith and we aim for best practice in all areas. We have our own Health and Safety Officer qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate, working towards Diploma and CMIOSH, to ensure all health and safety tasks are completed quickly and efficiently and to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout.
Our policy is reviewed at least annually and we are forever on the lookout for changes to the law and any other guidance so we are as up to date as possible.
Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Assessments are all completed internally and reviewed regularly and will be continually monitored for any changes or new processes/procedures.
Employees are issued with PPE required on site upon induction and we provide regular health surveillance for jobs that may pose health risks. The results of which are closely monitored.
